Excel Industries Inc., formerly Hesston Industries, Inc., was formed in January, 1960. Our product at that time was combine and tractor cabs. We are proud of our role in pioneering the first "zero-turning radius" mower with infinite maneuverability in 1964 – the Hustler®. In 2000, we introduced the Hustler Z™– our seventh generation of Excel Hustler mowing products. Today, Excel innovation continues to lead the way in commercial turf maintenance. Our dedication to research and development means that you accomplish more work, with fewer people, in less time. Excel's most recent milestones include: the Super Z™ – at 15 mph, the fastest production mower on the planet, the FasTrak™ – the first homeowner zero-turning radius mower built to professional standards of durability and performance, and the ATZ™ – a Z-rider designed to handle slopes. Hustler Turf Equipment is sold through representatives and branches throughout the United States and abroad. We have enjoyed a rapid, steady growth pattern, with 10 times as many dealers as we had just 5 years ago.
